Wedding bells

Weddings are a very very common occurrence in our house.  We have at least one every day.  Sometimes we marry stuffed animals, imaginary friends, or each other.  Generally the groom is a boy, except when Hollie wants to marry Blake or me.  Sometimes we just get ready for the wedding (this usually just consists of picking out clothes) while we wait for the husband to arrive, when Hollie says we will "find out" who he is.  It's no surprise that this is one of her favorite things to do, since she loves to hear the stories about when Daniel and I got engaged, married, and went on our honeymoon.

Today was a good one...a true glimpse of an uninterrupted four-year old train of thought...

"I'm ready for my wedding!
Now I need to pick a boy.
But there's no boys here.
Except the boy in your belly, who can't talk.
I can't marry him if he's still in your belly."

At this roadblock, we moved on to snack time, and then building blocks.

Sorry it's been a while.  I'm working on writing about Hollie's birthday and going though lots of photos from the last month.

Happy Spring!!!
